Next Stage, Inc. Receives Monetary Donation from Daughters of the American Revolution Service for Veterans

January 28, 2010 - President and CEO Birdie Anderson was recently featured in the West Meade News, a Nashville (TN) Area community-focused newspaper, accepting a check from Andrea Lawrence, Chairman of the Daughters of the American Revolution Service for VeteransThese funds were exclusively collected for Next Stage, Inc. at a recent Cumberland District Meeting.  President/CEO Anderson started her non-profit firm in 2004.  Her Nashville-based operation owns a house which is focused on improving the living conditions, personal care, and job training for homeless veterans.  "Our goal is to expand our operation to offer more homeless veterans improved living conditions, personal care and services including job training assistance we presently have underway.  This will require us to purchase additional houses and furnish the rooms for comfort and support of our homeless veterans.  Therefore, we certainly appreciate receiving the monetary donations from the "Daughters of the American Revolution Service of Veterans" via Chairman Andrea Lawrence.  Monetary support for our non-profit firm similar to the one I received from Chairman Lawrence helps Next Stage, Inc. bring the stated services to our homeless veterans quicker.  I am hoping that other organizations and individuals will make monetary contributions to assist us in helping to improve the lives and future aspirations of our homeless veterans.  We also accept donated labor and job skills from Greater Nashville Area contractors and craftsmen in support of furnishing and preparing the purchased houses for our homeless veterans.  Those who wish to make an Internet-based monetary contribution are encouraged to use our secure PayPal account found on Next Stage, Inc.'s web site."
